Carbon Bowsprit

My cruising sailboat was manufactured to fly the spinnaker directly off the anchor roller. I decided I wanted an after-market solution to get the tack out further in front of the boat. 

I consulted with The Boat Doctor and he designed and produced his own concept for a carbon sprit uniquely designed for both function and beauty. It was unlike anything I would have thought of, or the market was offering. 

The Boat Doctor drew the plans, sourced a builder, coordinated the construction, and installed it on my yacht with a dyneema bobstay of his design and making. It’s a combination of the strongest sprit a cruiser could ask for and a work of art. I get frequent compliments on the sprit at the dock. I have since retained The Boat Doctor for numerous additional projects. He brings a passion and love to boat work that is rare in the marine industry.
