I am a proud owner of a C&C 115 racer/cruiser which we primarily race. People say I am pretty particular about my boat — always trying to improve her, keep her in tip top shape, make her safer, better performing and looking good.

On distance races, one of the most important crew issues is getting good sleep. Yet many boats are not designed for sleeping while racing --- leeclothes work, but not well.

I shared my thoughts/needs with The Boat Doctor and he conceived a solution, designed and manufactured its components and installed a finished set of light-weight, removable leeboards that allow the crew to rest comfortably and safely in their bunks regardless of sea conditions.
